The sharp, wide, deep single thread has 2 slot cut outs making it ideal for working close to the edge of timber & board materials.The cuts dramatically reduce the possibility of splitting. No pilot hole required.

The reinforced countersunk has ribs and tucks underneath allowing the wood screw to self-countersink flush. A collar under the head reinforces the countersink & enables a deeper more positive drive. The R2 cutter surface finish gives excellent resistance against corrosion. The invisible Teflon coating saves energy & speeds the screwing process.
